The ASA Stars National Tour heads to Owosso Speedway for the Michigan 200, August 25th!

Michigan 200

The Michigan 200 is scheduled for August 25th at Owosso (MI) Speedway. The event will serve as race #7 of the ASA Stars National Tour season. The Michigan 200 will be co-sanctioned with the ASA CRA Super Series.

The debut of the ASA STARS National Tour at Owosso will take place in conjunction with Michigan International Speedway’s huge NASCAR Weekend. The Michigan 200 start time is 8:00PM Eastern Time, allowing fans to make the trek north from Brooklyn to catch the Stars and Cars of ASA.

Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The ASA STARS National Tour for pavement super-late model stock cars debuted in March 2023 for Super Late Model racing in America.

The ASA STARS National Tour is a ten-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit ten different race tracks in 7 states in 2024, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks, and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.

Track Enterprises (TE) is a racing Promotions Company based in Illinois, which owns and operates the ASA STARS National Tour. In addition to the STARS National Tour, Track Enterprises owns and operates Championship Racing Association (CRA) and the ASA Midwest Tour. TE also has a strategic alliance and controlling interest in the ASA Southern Super Series.

About the Father's Day 100

The Milwaukee Mile will host the ASA STARS National Tour on Sunday, June 16th for the Father’s Day 100. The event will be race #5 on the 10-Race ASA STARS National Tour.

This will be the second visit for the series in its two-year history, as the ASA STARS Tour also sanctioned last year’s Father’s Day 100. Ty Majeski continued his strong runs at the Mile, claiming the win.

GoFas Pole Qualifying pays a $1,000 bonus for fast time and championship points to the top five qualifiers.

Porters Lake, Nova Scotia, Canada’s Cole Butcher currently leads the standings by eleven points over Casey Roderick. Bubba Pollard, Gio Ruggiero, and Matt Craig round out the top five in the standings after the first three races. Pollard took the win at the New Smyrna opener, while Butcher won at Five Flags and Hickory.

The event will be part of a doubleheader Father’s Day weekend of racing, with the series also in action at Madison International Speedway on Friday night, June 14th!

About the Father's Day 100
